THE C.M.S.A. COLUMBUS CLASSIC IS OPEN TO ALL PARTICIPATING US SOCCER FEDERATION (USSF) AFFILIATED TEAMS

We offer boys and girls competitions for the single age levels of 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 & 15;  and for the dual ages of U16 and U17. 

A, B & C bracket competition levels where registration allows

THE TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO COMBINE  AND/OR SPLIT AGE GROUPINGS ALONG WITH ANY COMPETITION LEVEL AS DEEMED NECESSARY, IN ORDER TO FACILITATE THE MOST  FAIR, PRACTICAL AND FUNCTIONAL TOURNAMENT POSSIBLE.

7v7 Competition for 2013, 2012  & 2011                             

 9V9 Competition for 2011, 2010 & 2009                               

11V11 Competition for 2009, 2008, & 2007 

HS Competition for 2006, 2005 & 2004.

3 Game Minimum in either a round-robin or play-off format

ALL GAMES WILL CONSIST OF TWO 25 MINUTE HALVES

Team and Individual Awards to the 1st & 2nd Place team in all age brackets.

Maximum Tournament Roster Size:

U8 thur 10:      14 Players

U11 & 12:         16 Players

U13 & 14:         18 Players

U15 thru 18:   22 Players  (Only 18 dressed per game)

Begins:  June 15th 2020

Closes:  October 2nd 2020

Tournament Dates (Two Day Event)

  • Saturday - October 10, 2020
  • Sunday -     October 11, 2020

Team Registration Fees:

Ages 8, 9 & 10 (7v7)................@ $665.00
Ages 11 & 12  (9v9).................@ $690.00
Ages 13 & 14 (11v11).............@$700.00
Ages 15, 16 & 17 (11v11)......@$725.00
 
There is a multiple registration discount of $25.00 per team when a program registers a minimum of 6 or more teams at the same time on the same payment.  

  REFEREE FEES ARE INCLUDED IN YOUR REGISTRATION

Registration Procedure:

 

Step #1)  Register your team through the GotSoccer.com website

  • Once you have registered your team into  the GotSoccer site;  CMSA will receive a confirmation from Got Soccer which will only reserve your space in the event.

Step #2)  E-mail the CMSA office a scanned .pdf copy of your current USSF affiliated team roster  to:       cmsatournamentrosters@comcast.net

  • Please note you still can make changes to your roster prior to your first game.  Revised rosters will have to be dropped off at the tournament headquarters at the main venue.

Step #3) Your registration fee and paperwork is now due and payable through the the  CMSA-Stone Alley website by credit or debit card.   

Once your payment has been received and processed, your team will be designated as paid/ accepted on the Got Soccer site.

All paperwork and payments must be received by the registration deadline date to have your team scheduled.

Tournament Scoring  

It is the responsibility of the winning team of each game to report their score immediately after each game to the tournament teant located at each venue.  If score are not reported; the game will be noted as not played and no points will be rewarded.  

Competition Placement Information

FINAL COMPETITION LEVEL PLACEMENT IS AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF THE TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE

Venue Regulations:

No pets,
No smoking,
No alcohol
No cooking (Includes Parking Lots)

 

US SOCCER Affiliated Event

This is an USSF affiliated tournament open to SAY, US Club Soccer, AYSO and all USYSA state affiliates with a "Permission to Travel" form from your state association when submitting  your application.

If you are registered through MSYSA you will be required to purchase CMSA/SAY Academy insurance for participation; due to MSYSA's refusal to grant participation to their membership.  Your current USSF ID cards can be used with this roster.  Contact scorenews@aol.com for information
