2024 CMSA Fall Saturday & Sunday Leagues

Separate Boys and Girls Competitive  Leagues for Saturday Play

A-Premier  -  B-Challenge   -   C-Classic  

High School League and the New ELite Club Travel League will play on Sunday

For the Elite Club League; teams must contact Lou Webster (Boys) or Mike Agudelo (Girls)

prior to registrating for the new Sunday Elite Club League.

ALL TEAMS MUST BE USSF AFFILIATED THROUGH EITHER (SAY)
SOCCER ASSOCIATION FOR YOUTH,  or US CLUB SOCCER, or MSYSA (USYSA)

CMSA is an open USSF affiliated league through it's membership with; SAY,  US Club & MSYSA for League and Tournament Play.

REGISTRATION DATES

Registration Start Date June 1st, 2024
Registration End Date July 31st, 2024

Fall League Start Date September 7th & 8th, 2024
Fall League End Date November 2nd & 3rd, 2024

 

 All makeup games must be completed to count in the final standings.

The 2024 Fall Season will consists of eight (8) games. The Columbus S Classic Tournament (optional) scheduled for the weekend of October 7th & 8th.  Complete Challenge Cup (August), Labor Day (September) & Columbus Tournament information is available under the Tournament tab.

LATE FEES

A $100 Late Fee will be added for Registrations after July 31st. THERE IS NO GUARANTEE YOUR TEAM WILL BE ELIGIBLE IF THEY ARE REGISTERED LATE

REGISTRATION FEES

The registration fee which includes the referee fees will need to be paid with a credit card upon completion of your online registration. 

To pay for the registration fee by check, your program will need pre-approval by the league office. The program will need at least (5) teams registering for the Fall league for approval to pay with one bulk check for all of their teams. You will need to check with your program chairperson to see if a Bulk Check payment code has been provided for your program. Otherwise, the registration fee will need to be paid with a credit card Through Stone Alley.

All Bulk Check payments are due by August 15th 2024.

FORFEIT BOND

  • U07 – U10 @ $200 per team
  • U11 – U18 @ $300 per team

Those teams WITHOUT AVAILBLE FIELDS for CMSA to schedule a minimum of two (2) games back to back games; must submit a forfeit bond.  For U07, U08, U09 and U10 the bond is $200.00; for U11 through U18, the bond is $300.00.  The bond will be deposited in the bank, and if not used, it will be refunded at the end of the season.  Clubs with three or more teams registered in the league with NO FIELDS; will need to post a $500.00 performance bond for all teams entered.

Team Placement

Coaches and/or Managers will need to verify that their team has been placed in the proper gender and/or age group on the CMSA website by July 31st, 2024.  If your team is not listed in the correct gender and/or age group, you will need to let your league commissioner know by August 1st, 2024. As we will start to break down the divisions and start scheduling the league games on August 8th, 2024.

Field Allocation

Program Field Coordinators will need to submit their Field Allocation Form (link located above in the dark blue section) to the league by August 7th, 2024 or sooner to guarantee home games for your teams. Please note we will need the ability to schedule a minimum of two games back to back on your field(s).

Schedules

Fall schedules will be posted roughly about  10 to 14 days prior to the start date of the Fall league .

    Additional General Information

REPORTING SCORES 

The winning coach or if tied, the home team coach must report their game score to the league office by Tuesday evening. Please use the link in the above dark blue box (Score Reporting Form) to submit your game scores. All games count towards the final standings; as there are no championship games . If a score is posted incorrectly, please contact your league commissioners for correction. Their contact information is located under the "CONTACT" section.

U07–U10* (7v7)          2x25 min. halves
U10*-U11-U12 (9v9)    2x25 min. halves
U12*-U13 -U14 (11v11)  2x30 min. halves
U15 -U17 (11v11)            2x35 min. halves

ROSTER SIZES 

U07-U10 (7v7)  max 18 players, can only dress 14 players game day
U10-U12 (9v9)  max 20 players, can only dress 16 players game day
U12-U14 (11v11)  max 22 players, can only dress 18 players game day
U15-U18 (11v11)  max 25 players, can only dress 20 players game day

DUAL ROSTERING.

The league will not allow players to multi-roster players within the same age group. Go to the POLICIES page to the link in the light blue section to access - the Player Transfer and Dual Roster Policy.

CMSA LEAGUE STAMPED ROSTER

Coaches and/or Managers must Email their state affilialted (SAY, US Club, MSYSA) roster to a CMSA registrar to be proccesed and stamped for league play. The CMSA registrars are listed under the CONTACT section.

GAME CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING

Regarding the request to cancel a game and to reschedule it. Please review the guidelines under the POLICIES section; Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

WEATHER CANCELLATIONS

In case of inclement weather, the program chairperson and/or field coordinator must notify the league office if their field(s) are not playable by 7:00 am or sooner, if there are morning games on their fields and by 10:00 am or sooner for afternoon games.

It is important that all coaches/managers check our Home Page the day of their game. As we receive notification of any field cancellations, we will post the field closure/cancellation on the Home Page
